Hi, I’m Scott.

In 30 years of cleaning carpets, I have learned a few things and seen the way tools and chemistry could be improved upon. I do a lot of "think-tanking" with other veteran carpet cleaners on a regular basis and come up with improvements on our systems. A very forward-thinking supplier of mine has a successful retail store with gear that I helped create. I did, and still do, the field testing of all new designs and provide feedback to industry partners on where to improve. Our designs from 10 years ago are now commonplace in every carpet cleaner’s van.

In the carpet cleaning world, us professionals always wanted/needed more heat, causing us to buy bigger, more expensive truck mount machines. I've created a way, at a net zero operational cost, to capture heat into my filtered cleaning water from the van’s engine coolant while driving from job to job. I designed an on-board freshwater tank to heat up through heat exchangers; the heat from the engine coolant of my van transfers into my cleaning water. This means my truck mount doesn't have to work as hard or burn as much fuel to get great heat when the water is already hot.

I am also a beta tester of very groundbreaking restorative cleaning chemistries. I give feedback on the cleaner’s strengths and weaknesses along with creating recommended dilution rates for retail customers.

For years I've trained people to become new cleaners and helped my fellow veteran carpet cleaners with any unique challenges they come across. I've designed the layout of many new work vans to be hyper-efficient for a productive workday.
